Kite Tails is the whimsical telling of an enjoyable day flying a kite. There is an upbeat melody throughout the ensemble with subtle interjections of brass and percussion portraying gusts of wind. Eventually, the kite takes a tumble led by a descending line in the alto saxophones. With a little effort and a build-up (in the winds -ha!), the kite is soaring again!
